The extension reads the product on the page (structured data, GTIN, model number, title), asks the atls matching engine whether it knows it, and only speaks up when there's a meaningfully better price or the “sale” isn't real.

Architecture
  • • Manifest V3 content script extracts JSON-LD Product, og: tags and visible price.
  • • Calls GET /api/extension/lookup?url&price&title&gtin, already live on this site.
  • • Same normalization and LESS SCORE engine as the website and apps.
  • • Privacy first: no browsing history leaves the device; lookups only fire on product pages.
  • • Click-outs route through /go/:id, which logs consumer savings.
